Espai Tribu was born from a very real need. From looking for a space where children could feel understood, respected and supported just as they are. A place where not everyone was expected to do the same thing, in the same way, at the same pace.
A space that could also understand families: the doubts, the fears, the small victories, the easy days and those that are not so easy.
From this need, Espai Tribu was created — a child support and development centre in Vilanova i la Geltrú offering children a safe environment to discover, learn, connect and grow, respecting their unique way of seeing and living in the world.
Our approach
We understand child development from a holistic perspective. We do not focus only on what is difficult, but also on strengths, interests, ways of communicating, context and everything that helps each child feel safe.
That is why we adapt the activities, materials, pace and way of supporting. Play, movement, exploration and bonding are essential tools for meaningful learning.

Created by a mother
Sandra is the person behind Espai Tribu. Espai Tribu was born from the perspective of a mother who knows first-hand the need for spaces where children do not have to fit in, but can be understood and supported. This experience is part of the project's essence and lives alongside the professional perspective of the team. At Espai Tribu, Sandra drives and shapes the project, from supporting children and families to creating a space where everyone feels welcome.
